Star Plast Industries Pvt Ltd was established as a SSI unit in 1981 at GIDC Makarpura Industrial Estate, by enthusiastic group of well qualified technocrats having rich experience in a wide spectrum of related fields like Manufacturing, Marketing, Industrial Design & Development and Construction.

Star Plastic Industries was founded in 1981 by technocrats Mr. Arun M. Gajjar and Mr. K. M. Gala, combining strong technical expertise and a shared vision to establish a plastic manufacturing enterprise in Gujarat’s growing plastics industry.
Entry into Pharmaceutical Packaging & Growth
In 1983, Star Plast Industries began manufacturing plastic containers for pharmaceutical applications. With dedicated moulds and approvals, the company entered the pharma packaging sector. As products gained acceptance, the organization evolved into a growing enterprise, building a strong foundation for long-term success.
Expansion into Blow Moulding
In 1999, Star Plastic Industries adopted blow moulding technology and introduced threaded plastic jars for bulk pharmaceutical packaging. This strategic expansion enhanced the product range, strengthened market presence, and supported the company’s continued growth in pharma packaging.
Innovation for Diagnostic Industry
In 2000, Star Plastic Industries achieved a milestone by developing a leak-proof diagnostic bottle with a unique Plug-in Cap design. Praised for quality, functionality, and design, the product gained strong acceptance and enhanced the company’s reputation in diagnostic packaging.
Infrastructure Revamp & Clean Room Facility
In 2017, Star Plastic Industries underwent major revamping, converting its manufacturing area into a modern clean room facility with advanced systems. The company also achieved US DMF certification, strengthening its commitment to global quality and compliance standards.
